How to tell it apart
Not to be confused with: Blackfin tuna
Blackfin tuna is smaller, with short fins and dusky finlets. Yellowfin finlets are bright yellow.
Not to be confused with: Bigeye tuna
Bigeye is plumper, with a larger eye and shorter second dorsal and anal fins.
